Worn Threads – Original Hand Painted Textured Canvas Art

Worn Threads is an original hand-painted canvas in soft cream and sand, crossed with layered strokes of plum, wine and bronze.

Textured filler and acrylic are built up in horizontal bands, so the surface feels woven and worn, like old fabric or a landscape seen through mist. Small dark marks near the base add a quiet point of focus. Its square format suits a living room wall above a sofa, sideboard or console table, and the plum tones are lovely picked up in cushions, throws and dried flowers. It is supplied unframed on stretched canvas. As an original painting, it is the only one of its kind.
