Founded in February 2025 by friends Annie (Anneka) Hicks and Kirsty McInally from the heart of the Cotswolds, Green & Gable quickly established itself as a destination for discerning customers seeking quality, handcrafted furnishings and décor. The business built its reputation on showcasing British craftsmanship and artisan-made products designed to last a lifetime.
A Personal Decision
The decision to transfer the business comes as both founders became forced to focus on family priorities and health considerations. "Starting Green & Gable with Kirsty has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life," said Anneka. "We poured our hearts into curating beautiful pieces and building relationships with incredible British artisans. However, life has a way of shifting priorities, and we've both unfortunately very unexpectedly reached a point where we need to focus on our personal wellbeing following recent health diagnosis, and some unprecedented family commitments that would have meant putting Green and Gable on pause for the foreseeable future."
Kirsty added: "While it's bittersweet to step away from something we built together, we're genuinely excited to see Green & Gable continue under Dean and Damaris's care. Continuing the Legacy
Dean and Damaris Reeves, who bring extensive experience in online retail and a shared passion for quality craftsmanship, will maintain Green & Gable's core mission of curating exceptional home and garden products from trusted British suppliers.
